Marketlink is looking for an experienced, Senior-level Digital Account Executive to contribute to a wide variety of initiatives in a unique multi-disciplinary, group-focused work environment. As an ideal candidate you have an expert command of current and emerging internet technologies and in particular their application to brand building and marketing campaigns. You have superior communication and presentation skills and handle competing timelines and deliverables with ease. You’re a natural leader that is comfortable driving forward with new ideas and serving as mentor and role-model to other members of the Marketlink team. Most importantly you take full responsibility for your client’s satisfaction and ROI achieved through the solutions we deliver.

  • Key Accountabilities:
    • Builds, maintains and grows positive and productive client relationships
    • Thoroughly understands the client’s business/brand, competitive environment and industry trends
    • Creates opportunities for account growth
    • Educates the client around the digital space (technologies, opportunities, benefits)
    • Develops digital strategies in concert with client needs
    • Contributes to business cases and sales initiatives
    • Prepares proposals and presentation materials
    • Participates in the development and presentation of client pitches
    • Provides in-depth ROI analysis for proposed solutions/tactics
    • Provides leadership, support and ongoing guidance to project and account teams
    • Leads project definition and work with project team to ensure delivery excellence
    • Oversees day-to-day account responsibilities in concert with Account Representatives
  • Key Requirements:
    • 5+ years of Account Management experience within the digital agency sector
    • Superior understanding of online strategy, marketing, media concepts, SEO/SEM and online branding
    • Proven expertise in emerging media and online community engagement
    • Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies and tactical programs to influence audiences across the internet and through social media platforms
    • An understanding of integrated marketing and traditional public relations
    • Ability to develop strategic recommendations and program tactics for clients
    • Ability to provide clear creative conceptual direction and to motivate and inspire client, account, and creative teams
    • Exceptional at building and delivering presentations for clients and new business opportunities
    • Proven track record in managing and building existing and new accounts
    • Superior communication skills – written, verbal, presentation
    • Strong business acumen and proven ability to analyze ROI on client activations
    • Strong project management and documentation skills – disciplined, organized, attentive to detail
    • Experienced in development of cost estimates, creation and tracking of budgets
    • Bachelor degree or equivalent
