Grant Sharples
Grant is Manager, Project Management at MarketLink Corporation applying over a decade of management, IT and internet experience. Working together with Marketlink's clients, Grant manages the project development cycle including initial client needs analysis, development of specifications and creative briefs, interface design, information architecture design, application programming and development, testing and quality assurance, and budget and scheduling management.
Prior to his work with Marketlink, Grant held a number of senior management positions in operations, marketing and sales, within the publishing/media sector. In these capacities he spearheaded initiatives in process re-engineering, quality programs, branding initiatives, market growth and penetration strategies, and distribution logistics.
In addition to directing Marketlink’s project management team Grant continues to manage accounts and new initiatives for key clients within the healthcare, pharmaceutical and real estate sectors.
Grant holds a Bachelor of Industrial Design from Carleton University, has completed a post-graduate ecommerce program through York University, and in addition has earned certification as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), focusing on the design, architecture and management of enterprise level networks employing Microsoft and several other technologies.
